nature landscape

Landscape photography has been a big interest of mine for years. From the industrial landscapes of Pittsburgh and the "Steel Valley" of the Monongahela River. To the mountain forest landscapes of Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. But my favorite landscapes are in the forests of western Pennsylvania. Some of my favorite places have been McConnell's Mill and Hell's Hollow State Park where the Slippery Rock Creek runs through it along with the amazing rock formations left by a glacier. Ohiopyle State Park has many trails that follow streams that run to the Youghiogheny River, where you can fish for trout. Bear Run Nature Reserve has trails that go through vast areas of rhododendron, pine forest, hemlock and more. I love the rugged landscape of the Laurel Highlands and western Pennsylvania. My cameras have been constant companions for years. In 1994 I had an exhibit of 73 of my nature landscapes at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. In 2005 I had an exhibit at The Barn at Fallingwater called "The Poetry of Nature" and it was moved to the Community College of Beaver County in 2006, and to Chatham University in 2007. A number of my landscapes have been in various group exhibits, and about 15 were used in the book "Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright's Romance with Nature".
